Endo And Flying Abroad
Hello. Tips and hints on flying appreciated. I want to fly from London to Canada and have been looking at some flights mostly connecting ones as well. Has anyone flown with endo before? How was your experience of being on a plane? Is it a good idea to get a first class seat? I am hoping to make a list of things in advance thanks. Your stories of boarding a plane are wanted and will be read gratefully too. TIA!
I can't afford first class maybe if i won the lottery. I'm like KatherineB i sit near the aisle and kind of near the toilets because i need to stand due to numbness or sciatica. I normally eat at the airport and buy snacks at duty free before going on board and i tend to order kosher or vegan food which is sometimes bland. Whoever sits near me always eat my plane food.
I've flown a lot and we always try for first class bc there us more room and my pain tends to always flare up while in the air, but a lot of that is due to my pelvic congestion and vascular bleeding disorder. So I end up needing my pain meds more when I fly. And yes, try to move around as much as u can to avoid clots. Rub your legs and stretch. Good luck!!
Thanks for the hint
I would never say no to a glass of wine. But depends on whether you are having a flare up or not. Also stay plenty hydrated.
Is it a good idea to drink wine on the plane?
