Your story sounds very similar to mine. Just had total hysterectomy in addition to endometriosis excision surgery on 5/24/2023 & I am starting to feel better. Less pain although the hip pain is still bothersome if I sleep on my sides. I am still recovering & am hopeful I will continue to have less chronic pain. You will likely not feel better until you get the endometriosis excised unless the Lord decides to heal you another way. Wish you the best.

Hi Margaret, I 'm really sorry to read that. I was diagnosed with endometriosis in 2018 and it causes most of the symptoms you mentioned : extreme fatigue, pain (not sure in the hips) in lower back/pelvic floor in general, can cause pain in legs as it is an inflammatory disease and if you have other conditions, the endo make them worse. After my surgery I feel like a normal person again, so I suggest you to find a specialist (not all gynaecologists are specialist in endometriosis) and ask them for a MRI with contrast - which will give you the precise location of the endometriosis focuses if you have it. I'm from Brazil and there, the doctors have discovered that women in menopause can have endometriosis (months ago, we did not have this information - this is new)and many researches are being made about endo in general in there. You are right to say that you might need to travel to resolve this. I live in Ireland and had to go to Brazil to do my surgery as here (Ireland), the doctors are completely unable to help endo women. The only solution they have is to keep you taking hormones as a way to control pain and they keep saying that surgery is the last resource and it's too dangerous😒 (unbelievable). I hope you get better soon.
