Is There Any Workouts That Has Helped With The Pain?

A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

I used to work out a lot (running, stair stepper, weight lifing) before my endometriosis got so bad that now I can barely walk, I have been losing a lot of mussels and gaining weight since my pain got really bad agin. Is there any work outs that I can try that won't be too hard on the body but will help me stay in shape while going thru all of the pain?

I've found that just simple walking is helpful. I can be in a great deal of pain but when I force myself to get outside for a walk, it seems to lesson the severity of it.

Yoga!!!!!! I've been doing it off and in since my surgery two years ago. It help keeps your core limber preventing build up of the scar tissue endo causes. Start slow and beginner level. I love yoga and when I'm in so much pain all I wanna do is cry yoga helps me mediate and focus and bring myself into a calmer state.

When my ob told me to do yoga I looked at him like he was nuts. Now I could hug the man. I'm still expierncing pain and undergoing new treatment but the yoga helps
