How Long Before I Have A Period After My Laparoscopy?

A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭
Halifax, UK

I had my lapo nearly 2 weeks ago and was due on my period 3 days ago but still nothing. Is this normal? I know I can't be pregnant as the lapo showed my tubes are blocked.

When you have a lap they get rid of everything so consider that like having a period. So you shouldn't have another period until abt a month after.

I had my first lap in December and was due for my period about 2 weeks after, like you. I didn't have it until about 4 weeks after.

Good day ladies after a lap it can be from two weeks to a month before your next period. Strings ladies and just handle one day at a time don't stress about your period. Your body will adjust after the lap.
