I had a hysterectomy at 28 and they took everything but my ovaries. I also learned afterwards that I had varicose veins in my uterus which was also a big reason for my constant pain. My endo had spread to my rectum and ureter as well, but I did 2 months of Lupron right before my hysterectomy and there were no signs of endo at all when she did my surgery. My hysterectomy was done laperoscopically/vaginally with the DaVinci robot, the pain was not bad, I was expecting a lot worse.

Did Lupron help with pain?

I had my hysterectomy at age 31. They don't usually approve the procedure because you're of childbearing age and "might" want children. I'm gay and didn't want kids so once my partner went in with me to my appt it became evident to my Obgyn. I would think that if it's adhered to other organs and you're in chronic pelvic pain they'd approve it!
