I have pain with both. I've been told that with all the lesions and scar tissue I have things get fused together, twisted, stuck & can't move around anymore so when my bladder is full it doesn't have room to expand & causes pain. Same with the bowels.

After my endo surgery I did physical therapy, this was one of my symptoms too. The endo had attached to my bowels. My therapist said to use some sort of foot stool to raise your lower body while you're on the toilet. It helps relieve the pressure and cramping. Propping your feet up and not being a sitting L shape on the toilet.

My pain is before and during bowel movements, and when I'm gassy. After the pressure is gone I feel a lot better.

I've been having a lot of pain after bowel movements and the only thing that I've found helpful is eating a bowl of All-Bran every day to keep things soft and moving and drinking tonnes of water. I

Spastic colon is common with Endometriosis so is very painful bowel movements.(HUG)
