What To Expect After Stopping Hormonal Contraceptives?

A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭
Germany

Been on dienogest & ethinyl estradiol for 6 months after having a chocolate cyst over the ovary. Doctor said am fine now and stopped the med without even testing my hormones! And he wants me to get pregnant. I can't even have intercoutse to begin with. Am also having dilation and muscle relaxant sessions to ease the pain.

Wait, your doc said he wants you to get pregnant? Are you wanting to get pregnant? Sorry that just sounded weird. I know how you feel. Its hard to have sex when it hurts during and after. Before I was dx with Endo I felt like I was the only one out there that said it was painful to have sex. I still have problems with pain during and after sex. My husband is understanding but I feel like I have let him down.
I'm on Estradiol pill and have been for two yrs. I was given Estrace cream to help with the dryness but it feels so uncomfortable inserting the plastic tube. I had total hyster 2 yrs ago. Couldn't stand the pain anymore. Unfortunately it hasn't gone a way.
