I recently had a laparoscopic appendectomy, which wasn't planned. They went in for "exploratory surgery" thinking I had a fibroid tumor or cyst on an ovary. Turned out the severe pelvic pain I had was my appendix.. Which was full of endometriosis. Appendix was removed as well as a "small amount" of endo found on my uterus.
