I've been suspecting for quite awhile that I might have endometriosis. I didn't even know what it was until my sister was diagnosed with severe endo last year. After she had surgery, her doctor said that her bowel was very much involved and he cleaned her up as best he could, but eventually she would probably need to have a second surgery for a bowel resection with a temporary colostomy bag.

I've been dealing with nerve pain from my feet to my lower back for a few years now and it gets worse during my period. I sometimes have to use a cane to help me move around. My pain mgmt doc just ordered a MRI for my pelvis because he believes that my endo is causing these issues. I'm assuming that when endo flares up it causes our female organs to press against nerves that affect the back and legs. I'll update u with my MRI results to shed light on ur question.

Yes, please let me know what you find out!! I'm so sorry you're dealing with something similar. Have you ever had surgery for endo, Renetra? I hope you get some answers that will help the doctors find a way to give you some relief.

Thank you for the reply, Alisa! I don't think I have H. Pylori because they took cultures during both colonoscopies and also of my stomach during my endoscopy... nothing came back as abnormal there. I haven't heard of that before, so I googled it and it sounds miserable. I hope you're feeling better!
