I used depo provera for about three months in college. At that time my endo was undiagnosed, but I definitely had it then. I bled non-stop for an entire month, and my periods weren't any lighter at all. That was the biggest con that eventually caused me to stop using it. The pros are that it's not a daily pill, you get a shot every few weeks which is convenient. That was the only pro I experienced. One other con I noticed was that the shot burns when injected, however, it's a manageable burn and eventually subsides.
