Help Deciding Between Experts?
I have stage IV endo that has grown onto my ureter and possibly kidney. I have been told I need surgery (again). I have narrowed it down to four surgeons and I am traveling regardless of who I choose because no one is local. This time I am finding the best of the best because I am tired of wasted surgeries and misinformed doctors. When it comes to these specialists, are they all good and which one just depends on preference? I'm so overwhelmed by the choice because I feel like this is my best… read more
100% recommend Dr. Tamer Seckin! He did my surgery in March of this year and I feel so much better. He knew exactly what he was doing and removed all of my endometriosis. He was very thourough. I wouldn't go to anyone else but Dr. Seckin especially since you have advanced stage endometriosis. He is the best of the best.
I would definently say either Dr Sinervo he's very great and informed or Dr Seckin he's like known to be the best of the best. He's made endometriosis his speciality which is quite amazing considering there's so many things on/gyns can do. I have someone I would recommend he's amazing and I have very severe stage IV endometriosis he's in Colorado right outside of Denver in Littleton, CO his name is Dr David Watson he's amazing.
Thanks!! Very helpful.
I second the Dr Seckin recommendation. I had my surgery in May and he's wonderful!! I'm also stage IV and I had endo removed from my ovaries, bladder, bowel, and even appendix removed. He is so good at what he does and is a meticulous surgeon!
Thanks for your input! That's great to hear about Dr. Cook. Follow-up question: have you heard anything about Camran Nezhat in CA? I ask because he is able to schedule me the quickest. Trying to decide if it would be worth it to get done quickly by Nezhat rather than wait for Dr Sinervo.
