What Does Endo On The Bowels Feel Like?
I've been having a lot of pain around my belly button and was wondering if it's endo or something else. I had a lap in May and they found endo in a couple places but not on my bowels. Still, the surgen could've missed it or it has grown recently. Could anyone with endo on their bowels tell me what it feels like?
Thanks a bunch!
I have that behind the bowel & bladder. I'm always nauseated, have a dull aching pain in the gut. Big time constipation & diarrhea as well. Sometimes these symptoms are from adhesions if you had surgery before. Right now I'm confused & don't know if it is the endo or adhesions or both.
I actually had a haematoma ( blood clot) in my belly button after a laparoscopy which lasted about 3 months... did they go through your belly button when performing the laparoscopy? When I had another surgery months later my surgeon found that I also had an adhesion which had grown from my belly button all the way down and had stuck to my bowel and remaining ovary ( looked like a gross worm in the pictures)..... I have also recently been diagnosed with eno on the bowel.... I have had a hysterectomy though and due to me not having a uterus it has now spread to my bowel. There are many different symptoms I found like my appetite.... i could only eat two or three mouthfuls of food before feeling full, Rapid weight loss, I bleed from the rectum when passing bowel motion...... the pain was 1000 times worse than my usual endo pain.... a pulling feeling after passing bowel motion everything inside feels like it moves up ( back into place) ....... geee where do I stop .... there are many symptoms I had before they diagnosed me. I actually had to sit down the night before the Dr and write them all down as I have so many I knew I would forget something important....
@A MyEndometriosisTeam Member Endo on the bowels feels like glass being slowly inserted into the intestines. As if something were eating through the outside of the intestinal wall & going to the inside. The pain makes you pass out at times. Its pure dreadfulness personified! I know from experience. Resulted in a temporary ileostomy. I hope & pray it doesn't attack your bowels!!!
