Endo & Weight Gain Connection?
In the past 6 months, I've gained about 20 pounds, give or take. I feel like a whale. I haven't weighed this much in YEARS. It just adds on to how horrible I feel. Anyway I was thinking about my diet and I don't eat enough to gain like that, and I *try* to go to the gym 3 times a week. Some days I really can't bring myself to do it. Endometriosis is an estrogen dominance condition. https://www.mindbodygreen.com/articles/are-your... This article talks about many ways to help balance your estrogen levels naturally.
I also really struggle to lose weight, even after exercising and eating healthy and I’ve just recently discovered oestrogen dominance and I don’t know for sure I have it but I had every single symptom of someone who is oestrogen dominant and having endo made me think that possibility is high too. The visanne could be the culprit. I gained about 10-15lbs on it. After I stopped taking it I also drastically changed my diet so I can't say for sure the cause of the weight loss I would say a combination of coming off visanne and diet changes. I'm down 11lbs since end of August. I cut out gluten dairy sugar and carbs as per the advice of my naturopath. I'm on day 3 of my period today in horrendous pain and I'm not even bloated. Highly recommend giving it a try for a few weeks.
