Natural Pain Relief???
What do you ladies use for a more natural pain relief? I have a tens and the works great but looking for different/more options?
I went to a natural doctor who suggested chaste tree pill Which has helped me sooo much.
Heat is my best friend (heating pad and hot baths), and others have mentioned ice is helpful for endo pain, but I haven't tried that myself (for endo anyway). I've heard a lot of good things about turmeric being helpful for inflammation; I just started a supplement for it today. I don't do a full anti-inflammatory diet, but even limiting how much I consume of certain things (dairy, bread-- also eliminated alcohol) is helpful. Staying active when I'm well is helpful with muscle pain/tightness, back pain, etc. The suggestion of pelvic floor pt is great too-- dealing with the muscular issues in my pelvis and hips made a huge difference.
Pelvic floor physiotherapy and yoga have really helped me. Women with endometriosis have tight pelvic floor muscles which contributes to some of our pain. Learning to relax those muscles have significantly improved my pain.
Change your diet to anti inflammitory!
My gynecologist recommended raspberry leaf tea.
