Do Any Endo Sisters Wake Up Soaked In Sweat?

A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭
San Diego, CA

Not every day,but most of the week i wake up several times during the night/morning soaked in sweat. I mean my hair, clothes everything are soaked and my room is freezing?!?!? Its the most horrible feeling. My doctors don't know what's causing it. I read online it could be hormonal problems. Just hoping maybe someone else experienced it so i can make some sense to my doctor.

Members connected deeply over the distressing experience of waking up drenched in sweat multiple nights a week, despite cold rooms, with many describing soaked sheets, hair, and clothing that leave them exhausted and confused. Several members shared that night sweats intensified after starting Depo-Provera or progesterone treatments like Visanne, with the overwhelming consensus being that hormonal imbalances from endometriosis or hormone therapies are likely the cause. A recurring theme was the frustration of searching for relief, with practical tips including sleeping on towels to stay dry through the night and planning to advocate with gynecologists for hormone evaluations or medication adjustments.

I had that when I was taking quite a high dose of progesterone treatment. It was like I'd dived in a pool, so definitely get your hormones checked or reassess any meds you're on <3
