Hi AlexGibbon, with my first lap the doctor said that the pain i had been experiencing was due to the scar tissue surrounding my uterus. After the surg i was great for about a year, then the pain started up again and this time it had been much worse. She explained to me that when you have severe adhesions they sometimes become tough and hard (if that makes any sense)lol. When they become hard and your uterus contracts the pain you may experience is because the adhesion has healed and your usterus is moving... Its like when you have a scrap on your knee and its healed a little but then you bend it and it reopens... When she put it like that it made a lot of sense to me, I hope this gives you a little insight πŸ˜‰

I hope you feel better soon, and remember your not alone.. We are all here for you!

Have a beautiful and blessed day 🌞

Scar tissue can cause major pain. Thats one of the risks of surgery. πŸ˜” They should have explained that to you. x πŸŽ—οΈπŸ’›

AlexGibbon, the scar tissue can be removed.. But it does come back! And getting the laps causes more scar tissue as well...Anytime they open you up you will get scar tissue. I was told by my ob that it's the overies and hormones that causes the endometriosis, birth control is given to help regulate the hormones so scar tissue doesn't come back right away.

I had this last lap through the public health system do you think I they may not have resected the scarring because they were not specialised enough ?
