I had a laparoscopy yesterday, found out it was endometriosis. They “burnt” the patch away, think I’m only stage 1. I’ve got loads of questions as I was still asleep when the consultant went, so got to wait for my follow up appointment x

I was diagnosed today and feeling the same way. Just focusing on recovering from the laparoscopy right now.

I've only just been diagnosed a week ago. I am also finding it hard to deal with. Here if you need to talk. X

It really is a bittersweet thing getting diagnosed with a chronic, incurable disease. But for me I think it was time that helped me come to terms with it, and figuring out with my doctors a proper treatment plan. It does get easier, I promise.
