Endo On Gallbladder?
Do any of you have experience with endometriosis on your gallbladder and if so, did they remove your gallbladder as a result? A few years ago my GP was convinced I was having gallbladder trouble since I am in my 40's and female but when I had tests done I had fairly normal gallbladder function. At the time I asked the doctor if it is possible my endometriosis was on my gallbladder and she said "it would be very rare" (even though it has already been found on my rectum, bladder, appendix, etc.).
… read moreI read a journal article about how women with endo experience seizure like activity in our digestive tract when our estrogen is high, at ovulation and before your period. This means that the duct running from the gallbladder and pancreas can’t function properly and so our digestion gets negatively affected. They suggested you can take GABA to relax things. I usually take digestive enzymes with my dinner but around those times I take them more often and it seems to help a lot. Sorry I didn’t save that article to link here, it was an old article from the 90s.

I believe it can be. Before ovulation and my period I get symptoms of gallbladder/ bile issues. It's pretty awful.
