Dry Heaving Week Before Period

A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭
Mount Morris, MI

Do any of you other ladies get nausea and dry heaves week before period? If so what helps ease them? I've been drinking sprite and eating saltine crackers

I use ginger tablets and doctors gave me anti nausea medication and omeprazole (heart burn medicine) that combination works for me it’s horrible when you get nausea :( hope you find something that helps
Also if mine is really bad I just eat a bland diet for a few days

@A MyEndometriosisTeam Member Yes I ALWAYS DO even not a week before my period sometimes all throughout the month. It's probably GERD, and I've noticed that it gets much worse during ovulation and my period. Since I stopped eating any type of sugar, caffeine, red meat, bread/gluten, and meat in general I've been feeling a lot better. Hope this helps!

Because I’ve had a hysterectomy, I don’t have period anymore but I pretty much lived on zofran.
