A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

I have just been diagnosed with Stage 3 and I had basically no symptoms until a cyst on my ovary got so big it caused some pain and they went in to remove it. Go get second / third opinion, and dont go back to that dr again. I changed doctors until I found someone who can listen, the dr at home is my 5th doctor. Am willing to try as many doctors as I can until they tell me what makes sense to me, so far my 5th dr is fine. we get along well

Get a second opinion please and then get a third or fourth if needed. I just lost the almost 100 pounds I gained on Lupron. Not saying that will happen to you just saying research! 🎗🎗😇

Please look up Lupron on this site so you can make an informed decision. I took two shots last year and I’m still recovering from the side effects.

To each their own - our bodies react differently to medications, and I will never judge a woman for taking it, but it IS a chemotherapy “medication” with serious side effects.

Second opinion sounds like a good choice. I was on Lupron for 6 months YEARS ago. My dr never said it had anything to do with helping infertility.
