I think that ultimately you need to find a doctor you trust who you can ask all these questions too. We are all so happy to share our own experience but we can’t give comprehensive medical advice the way a doctor can. It is so so hard to find a doctor who is an expert in endo though. How possible is it for you to find a new gyn??
Dont do any surgery now, rather find medication that will make you feel better. Surgery doesnt cure endometriosis, many women on this app have done surgery multiple times and still get pains.
How heavy is the bleeding? I believe visanne can cause light bleeding and spotting after taking it for several months. But if it's heavier you might want to get it checked out more. Could you see the doctor who prescribed the visanne? I'd agree that surgery might be a more long term solution though.
