Anyone’s Symptoms/pain Worse After Excision Surgery?

A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭
London, UK

Hey, I had excision surgery and an Endometrioma cyst removed in November and in the last month or so I’ve had cyst like pain again, along with other pelvic pain, hip pain, stomach pain and what I think is like digestive issues(?). I had a lot of endo on my bowel and bladder apparently and the surgeon said he thinks I have some in my bowel but couldn’t tell, so I had another MRI and I am seeing him in a couple of weeks. But the whole stomach pain/digestive issues have been way more noticeable… read more

I'm sorry you have all these symptoms again. I had my first lap in September (also endometrioma) and had to have another one in Feb... Another endometrioma and endo implants around the bladder. This thing grows so fast that anything is possible unfortunately..

@A MyEndometriosisTeam Member hey just wanted to update you as I saw the consultant today, he’s not sure that the digestive/bowel issues are endo related but is getting a second opinion from someone more experienced with bowel stuff. But my latest MRI looked quite good, having an ultrasound because of the cyst like pain and he’s referring me to a gastro doctor. Interestingly, another doctor there suggested a diet change and in particular cutting out dairy which I might try for 8 weeks until I go back to see them and that vitamin D and omega 3 is important!

I am so sorry 😩. Endometriomas are just awful. I had one removed during my lap in December and a month later I had another one. It's shrinking slowly but still there giving me grief. I really hope you find relief.
