My Pain Sync With The Increasing Of Vaginal Fluids

A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭
Cairo, IL

I know it's a weird symptom but I noticed that the pain is worse in ovaluation days, and the pain increases with the increasing of the vaginal fluids.
I don't know for sure that I have endometriosis, I only have chronic pelvic pain, and pelvic pain while urinating that become worse in ovaluation days. And sometimes I also have rectal pain.
I only wanted to know if someone else is experiencing something like that and what is her condition.
Thank you ❤

I have pain really bad during ovulation. A lot of times my pain is actually worse when I am ovulating than when I am on my period, and I have endometriosis. Also, I know when I ovulate I have an increase in vaginal fluids, I'm not sure if that's what you are noticing. I'm not sure if you could get your medical history things such as, pathology reports or lap op notes, or if you have pictures from your lap. It wouldn't hurt to get a second opinion. I wish there was a specialist you could see. You should look just to be sure. General OB's aren't always the best with endometriosis.

I did find it to be helpful. I needed a recommendation from a dr to make the appointment. It isn’t a cure all by any means but it is a start. It won’t help with the endometriosis either but it may ease up some of the pressure you are feeling. Outside of excision, is there an option for you to get laproscopy ? It would at least give you confirmation of the endo and you could get treated properly

I experience the same types of pain that you mention. Ovulation is my worst time of the month just above actual menstruation. The sharp stabbing pains, cramps, pain in the rectum and shooting pains. I was diagnosed with chronic pelvic pain after being sent down the GI track, also with a broken tailbone. Tons of attempted treatment with little to no relief. I finally got laparoscopic surgery because it’s the only way to find endometriosis and I had it all over. My doc performed the ablation which gave me about a 3% decrease in pain. I’ve learned so much from this site and others going through the same. Now I am on the hunt for an excision specialist to help me on the next chapter of this journey. It sounds like chances are high that you have endo. Have you ever had laparoscopy? Also, have you tried pelvic floor physical therapy? I wish you all the best on your journey. Use this site- it really helps to be understood.

When you ovulate, your body will up the secretions to help with getting pregnant. It's very common to have endo pain during ovulation, so that'd be my guess to the connection. At one time in my life, I was trying to conceive and I learned WAYYYYYYYY more about vaginal secretions than I ever expected I would. LOL
