Hope Everyone Is Staying Safe Out There Today. Quick Question For Those Of You Who Have Undergone Laproscopy For Diagnosis/excision.
When did they schedule your post op appt to review everything with the surgeon? Should I do that now so I dont have to think about it or risk waiting too long after surgery? Or did they automatically have an appt tome set up for you aftet the surgery as part of the process? Thanks in advance!!
Agree with Kat....they always give me the follow up date at the pre-op, and my next appointments are already in the books before surgery. I love my NP too!
And if you have any questions during healing - even if it's not time for follow up - please contact your doctor.
They automaticslly gave me one for 2 weeks after my op :)
I got my post op appointments after my surgery the day after i left the hospital. I saw the np the day after to remove the catheter. I see the np again 2 weeks post op and the performing surgeon 4 weeks post op.
The office should set up a postop visit about two weeks after surgery. Schedule one before surgery that way you can put it onto your calendar.
