A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question πŸ’

Hello, my name is Paul 😊 My girlfriend has been struggling with symptoms of endometriosis for all her life, and since we have been together I have been aart of her daily struggles. I love her to pieces and seeing her in pain is heart breaking, I do what I can bringing hot water bottles, massages, making teas, keeping her relaxed, and recently have changed my cooking to include more anti inflammatory foods, and spices to help. My gorgeous warrior is my world and I want to know of anything else I… read more

That's awesome & so sweet! I'm sure she really appreciates your support. If you want to learn more about endo & the best treatments for it, think about joining Nancy's Nook, a well respected educational endo group on facebook, to find all the updated research & list of the best endo specialists. Hope this helps!

Hey Paul, welcome ! It's great you came to this site ! Your girlfriend must be so lucky to have you. You try to use anti inflammatory food in your cooking too ! That's so nice and considerate of you. As for advice, the articles by this partner of an endo Warrior are very informative :

I'm sorry, this is a very kind post. Normally I mind my own business, but kudos to you for reaching out. Really, just having your partner be available to listen if you need to mention anything about endo, and being understanding is a big help. Sometimes as a person dealing with a chronic illness, you Don't want to talk too much about it, but being able to mention "I'm in pain" and the partner acknowledging that and that being the end of it for then, that's cool!
Hope this helps. Also, wanting to support you as you go to the dr is very helpful ☺️
