Diet Recommendations?

What do you make sure you have in your diet? What do you make sure to avoid? What are some triggers for you? Seeing if I can further help my body and get some encouragement.

I avoid anything acidic, fried or greasy. and adding lots of fruits and veggies helps with inflammatory issues. I suavely have to stick with bland foods so I don't get nauseous

I'm also interested in this. One thing I have learned is that certain brands of dairy products aggravate my entire system. For example, I cannot eat eggs, milk, or cheese that is Wal-Mart's Great Value brand. I get ill after eating those products.
I have read a lot about the benefits of turmeric, and my doctor recommended that I try it. So, this week, I am starting to use a Shroom blend that has turmeric, cordyceps, reishi, etc. in it. It is supposed to be good for immune support, inflammation, etc. We'll see how that goes!

Yes I’ve heard wonderful things about turmeric! Are you taking the blend as a pill? I also get flare ups when I eat extremely processed food and lots of dairy. I’ve heard lots of fiber is key. I just haven’t been making food or cooking much lately. Lots of times soda also messes me up so I need to transition to sparkling water instead. I think it’s the sugar combination with processed ingredients and carbonation, but other sparkling beverages don’t hurt me. I don’t drink much but beer also worsens my symptoms!

I’ve cut out gluten, soy, alcohol & processed meats (hot dogs & sausage are my biggest triggers) and have added lots of healthy fats (more fish, shrimp, and chia seeds) and berries. I also try to only get grass fed meats when I can to cut out any unnecessary added hormones. Dairy doesn’t seem to bother me at all, but I cut out cows milk for the same added hormones reason and only get the pasture raised/grass fed chicken eggs as well.

Avoid dairy, sugar, gluten, alcohol, processed foods, and caffeine.
Add lots of veggies, nuts, berries and omega 3, such as fish, flax and chia.
