I was on the max dose for the max length of time for Lupron and Orilissa. With both of them, my period eventually stopped (which was beneficial for me because with no period means no pain or symptoms from the endo). However, I did get hot flashes with Lupon. Once I finished the Lupron it took a while for the endo symptoms to return. Even when I did get my period, it wasn't as painful. However with Orilissa, I feel soon as I completed treatment and when my cycle returned, so did the pain. If I were to go back on one of them, for me, I would choose Lupron based on my experience. Always do your own research and weigh the pros and cons. I wish you the very best and hope all goes well.

I have been on Orlissa for the last two years. I am getting close to the cut off of two and half years and just recently started having some break through bleeding etc. It has been great. I would recommend it. Make sure you take calcium and d3.

I was on Lupron. Which ultimately works very well but the side effects are awful. I have been on Orilissa since I believe December or January. The side effects aren’t as severe but not having estrogen in your body really sucks. Period.
