Please Share Your Positive Experiences On Visanne!

A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

Hello everyone
As someone who's newly diagnosed with endo and only one month in on Visanne, I'm keen on hearing from those of you who've had moderate-to-good success on Visanne. I do understand that it can take quite a few months for many to adjust on the new pill, so it's perfectly alright if you can share your long term positive experience.

Personally, my first cycle on V was due some 4-5 days back but I barely had any spotting on day 1 with none thereafter. And the entire month since… read more

When I started Visanne two months ago, I started spotting a month after and the spotting lasted 17 days before it stopped.

Hello! I have been on Vissanne for a little over a month and for the first time in four years, I had my menstruation without the terrible endo pain. I am so relieved. However, my menstruation is yet to stop. I'm in my 12th day now. Anyone with the same experience?

Good question! I'd love to hear success stories, too. I guess hope is the best antidote for all the side effects. I'm struggling with the waves of excessive anxiety but knowing how effective it is for Endo is the only reason why I'm being patient and not giving up. I really want to continue Visanne and I'm willing to endure the side effects for as long as I possibly can (without losing my mind) given they eventually subside at some point and it's smooth sailing from there.

I started taking visanne November 2021 after my laparascopy. I spotted for over a month and it would not go away. I felt like I was always having a period and it was at first depressing. I continued taking it nevertheless not missing a single day and set an alarm to remind me. In July 2022 my period stopped and never came back. Since the start of February 2023 I noticed that I am having a lot of breastpain and that makes me very worried. I am scared of cancer. I stopped taking visanne as of February 5th and now am trying all natural remedies to regulate my hormones. The breastpain is still there. Anyone has any experience similar to mine? Any advice?

Thank you so much for that , I will do the same take note as I am taking it . I’ve always wondered why my periods were so painful I’m just happy to have a diagnosis and be able to start treatment . All the best to you too
