How Do I Get An MRI As I Am Awaiting To See The Gunacologist For A Possible Laporoscopy But It Could Take Months.

I have been waiting 9 years for a diagnosis and I haven't had an MRI but am waiting for a possible laporoscopy but it could take months to hear back, how do I go about an MRI to maybe see if that can confirm endometriosis.

All I gotta say is fight for your diagnosis! After previous Laproscopy and operations they still didnt find anything... until sept 2023 I went to the emergency for severe pain and vomiting they ended up admitting me and I had to have ultra sound then ctscan then they did the mri. The mri is what showed that I have adenomyosis the evil twin sister of endometriosis... it took me a decade to finally get diagnosis but don't give up! Hugs to you.

I wish I could lie more but I legot told them I would rather rip my own uterus out than go through another period and they still tell me its either normal or to lose weight 😕. Am glad you got your diagnosis though

Unfortunately an MRI probably won't show it, but that may be one of the first things they offer you, you'd have to ask your GP or conventional doctor to request one
Tbh I lied about my symptoms just to get a diagnosis, made them out worse than they are, but oh well, what I lied about became true anyway
