I have been on medical leave since my first surgery in October of 2023, there has been many complications from that surgery and the endometriosis that have prevented me from being able to go back to work. I’m now having to wait until December of this year until I can go back. Is there any way I could get temporary disability for the time I am not able to work?

Employers that offer 401k tend to also offer short and long term disability, FMLA, ADA, and some states offer paid leave when it comes to certain types of medical leave. Your doc has to sign forms with you in an appointment for most of these if not all of these things.
