Is Anyone Else Taking Myfembree?

A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭
Troy, OH

I have only been taking it for a month and 26 days. It takes 4 months to fully take effect. I get hot flashes a lot. Vaginal dryness( I had that start back in January before starting myfembree) My emotions are all over the place. My main emotions are depression, irritation, anxiety. Worsens during my period. It's been a struggle for me. I would like to know How long have you been on it? What side effects have you noticed with it? Does it get better after the 4 months once everything shuts down?

Harlee thank you so much!! I plan on staying on it as long as symptoms don't become too much. I didn't know about the hair loss or thinning. This does help me to know what I need to look for or keep an eye on. 🥰🥰

Hey girl !!! So I was put on myfembree in the year 2022 I was put on in after my hysterectomy with my ovaries left in. I did have less pain but I was on it for nearly 2 years. I had my ovaries removed this pas may and I’m off of it. I feel like it’s overall a good medicine for endometriosis, Becouse it didn’t make me gain weight like the depo did… it took away some of the pain but not all of it. I did experience night sweats, and I did change my antidepressant. Maybe give it a couple more months but definitely be aware of you symptoms. Btw it gave me bad alopecia and made my hair super thin, I’ve been on hormones tho for the past 6 years since being diagnosed with endo, so I do believe that has a big impact on my hair too. But I would track your symptoms and then maybe talk to your OB about it. I hope this helps and praying you find a balance girl 🙏❤️❤️ Lots of love!!
Harlee
