How Do You Cope With Fatigue?
I'm a staff nurse, and my whole shift is basically non-stop running around, lifting, shifting, doing CPR—everything. After work, I just crash and sleep, then wake up right before my next shift. On my days off, I try to work out, but I still feel like I'm losing control, and honestly, all I want is a good night's sleep. I feel that this isn't normal, could it be due to endometriosis?
I second that suggestion. I also went to a functional medicine doctor and gained valuable insights about myself. I received answers to questions I’ve had for ages and got helpful recommendations for supplements and lifestyle changes that address fatigue, inflammation, hormone imbalances, endometriosis, fertility, and my overall wellbeing.
I’m a PT and I used to have to go home and go straight to bed after work. Going to a functional medicine doctor and addressing detoxification and nutritional deficiencies made a HUGE difference in my energy. I recommend giving that a try! Folks with endo have a higher demand for nutrients than regular folk due to the higher inflammation and immune system demands.
I'm sorry to hear you're dealing with such bad fatigue. That's one of my biggest issues, too. I'm so tired. Always tired. Holding down a job takes all my energy and when I get home I'm so wiped out I can barely do the stuff I need to do, rarely do I have energy to do the things I'd like to do. I feel like endo is probably to blame, but I've got so many conditions it's hard to know what causes what.
Anyone else look forward to bedtime as their favorite part of their day??
Hi is it expensive to go to functional medivine doctor?
I'm a nurse too. I was diagnosed last month with endometriosis. I've always been know as the person who says "I'm tired", ever since I can remember 😭. I also have GAD so maybe the fatigue is from anxiety however I always wondered how someone could be so tired tired all the time and I'm only 33 with no kids lol. I'm looking into chronic fatigue from Endo it's most likely from your body constantly being in inflammation that would be what usually comes up
