Make sure to get medicine for nauseousness and pain killers. The surgery times vary depending on how extensive the endometriosis is I think. My second laparoscopic took longer since I had ovarian cysts on each ovary along with the adhesions to my bladder, bowel, ovaries and abdominal wall and rupturing of an ovarian cyst. Be sure to try to stay hydrated after and rest up as much as you can ❤️

I had two Laps this year, first was exploratory in January where they went in and said they didnt think the Endo was very bad, maybe a grade 1.
I went back in 6 weeks later for excision and I was in there for roughly 4 hours, after surgery doctors said I had grade 4, it was adheised to my bowel and bladder(badly).
I had a urinary catheter for a while.
The pain out your shoulder is the WORST :D
Ask for Morphine, or Oxy! Dont suffer, and make sure you have hot water bottle at home.

I had my first laparoscopy April of 2023. In one week I was up and moving around and getting out of the house. But the end of week 2, I was returning to work. There was definitely discomfort even after 2 weeks post op. Keep a heating pad and pain meds handy, drink plenty of fluids. As weird as it may sound, ginger ale with Lipton tea. The taste is so-so, but it helps with the gas bubbles afterwards!

I got you girl. A lot of it depends on how much they find and how much they end up taking out. My first surgery I was up and about the first week but my second had me down and out for two weeks before I left the house. Have your heating pad ready, drink fluids, try getting up and walking consistently, and have alarms and a schedule set for when you can take meds. Good luck sending love

I had laparoscopic surgery last 2020. For me it was okay, and I felt recovered after a week. There will be some pain after the surgery but it's manageable, just get lots of rest after and take it easy. And since its a minimally invasive surgery, the wounds heal fast just make sure to clean your wound dressing regularly
