When Did Post-surgical Fatigue Stop For You?

A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question šŸ’
UK and India

I'm two and a half months out from my surgery and still feel quite fatigued on a daily/weekly basis, not like I did immediately after surgery but it's certainly the most persistent symptom. I am not currently on any medication.

Luckily my pain is drastically reduced so far - maybe I'm just noticing the fatigue more now than I used to earlier. I also am not on meds for the first time in years, just started full-time work after graduating and moved to a new city in September so there's lots ofā€¦ read more

After surgery in 2009 to remove end and right ovary a cyst came back right away on left ovary. Thatā€™s when I started looking for the root cause. Here are some resources I used in case theyā€™re helpfulā€¦.

-Book by Wendy K Laidlaw

-www.homeopathycare.org will give you a free consultation to see if youā€™re a fit for treatmentā€¦also helped with anxiety and depression fatigue and acne,

-Medical Medium Cleanse to Heal Book I felt better by day 4,

-Dr. Rob or Dr. Bobby at Alternacare,

-had root canal removed by biological dentist.

Iā€™ve used one or a mix of these at any given point in time. No need to do all of them at the same time. Look at each and see what resonates with you and start there. These didnā€™t just help me, they literally moved me from the debilitation of DAILY PAIN to becoming asymptomatic and feeling ā€˜normalā€™ again. Iā€™ve battled level IV for 24 years and using these tools Iā€™ve been asymptomatic years 10-19 and years 22 to current. Year 10 marks the year I started to look for the root cause and thatā€™s when things changed for me.

Hello!! First All all Iā€™m so sorry your going through all this. When I was first diagnosed with endometriosis in 2019 I really didnā€™t think it was that big of a deal, I had a laparoscopy and I thought I would be fixedā€¦ I was put on the depo provera and off I went.. i didnā€™t realize back then it would prevent my to be unable to work and not have kids. I was so frustrated because my body was going down hill. I didnā€™t know what was happening to me between the pain and fatigueā€¦ down the road I needed another laparoscopy and I became my own advocate. I was not told from my first OBGYNs how debilitating this was or was told the severity of my endometriosis. Turns out I had stage 4 endometriosis from my 5th OBGYN and had a hysterectomy. For my my fatigue never went away I just learned to manage it. I am now on disability at the age of 33 with no kids and no lady parts. The hysterectomy did take away about 60 -70 % of my pain but I still have chronic pelvic pain and chronic fatigue. My advise is be patient and kind to yourself. Listen to your body, I need a nap everyday and that ok because Iā€™m learning to live a new way and thatā€™s also ok. I hope you feel better endo warrior !
