Yes, I had H Pylori. Treatment was brutal. Three different antibiotics 2x a day for two weeks. It went away after that and never came back. It has been 20 years. Highly recommend that you use probiotics and digestive enzymes. That might help you feel better sooner.

The treatment made me feel sicker than I felt with the H. pylori. Lots of nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, no appetite, etc. Typical antibiotic stuff. Just be sure to double up on probiotics or even triple up before you start the treatment during the treatment and after the treatment to get everything back to normal. Those antibiotics are killing off a whole lot of good gut bacteria. That’s why it makes people feel so bad.

Oh I'm do sorry! I don't have it myself, but my mom does and unfortunately she's allergic to the antibiotics that treat it, she gets so sick and breaks out, so anytime she gets a flare up from it she has to get admitted with a different iv antibiotic. I'm not 100% sure if this is just bc my mom can't take the correct meds to treat it, hers continues to come back so at least 2or 3x a year she gets admitted for the iv antibiotics. Of u get the correct treatment I'm not sure if it completely heals it and it never comes back again or not? But I have been with her when she's having the pain and it looks terrible. I will be praying for you and that you handle the meds well! Also agree with taking pre and probiotics daily will make a huge difference! Good luck hun!!

Yes, happened to me. The treatment was rough but effective. Haven't had it again, but had to change my diet a lot and be very disciplined about it - remove everything acidic (black tea, black coffee, chili food, citrus fruits, etc) and that's helped. I also had to stop taking super strong acidic painkillers, I now forget the name. But then struggled with GERD. Probiotics, Apple Cider vinegar water most mornings and anti inflammatory diet have helped
