Bleeding 2 Months After Laparoscopy

A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

Hi everyone,

I had my lap on the 12th June and had widespread but superficial endo and it was lasered off. After this I experienced heavy bleeding for around 2-3 weeks and my GP put me on tranexamic acid to stop the bleeding- which it did. Since then I have had no bleeding and have been on the progesterone only pill, like normal. However over the past month I have been experiencing pelvic endo pain AGAIN and tonight, I have started bleeding again
I have been in touch with my GP who I am… read more

Does Anyone Have Experience With Endo Impacting Nerves?

A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭
Leesburg, IN

A bunch of endo was removed from one of my uterosacral ligaments, and elsewhere, in my third lap last month.
However, I am still having pain in the bowel/sciatic nerve area. My pelvic floor pt has determined that the pain is not related specifically to my pelvic floor.
Besides hot baths, otc pain relievers, and stoof softeners, does anyone have any advice for dealing with this kind of nerve pain? I have an appointment with a Nook surgeon in June, but that’s a long time from now…

Endometriosis Pain

A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭
Wichita, KS

I am not necessarily asking a question. reading through these posted makes me want to cry because finally someone else understands me. I want to bring it to someone’s attention that there is a little magical device out there. I heard about this device 6 months ago, and after receiving it 2 months ago, my quality of life has improved. Not completely, but I think this information could change someone’s life. https://mylivia.com/
Please click that link and read about this device. Essentially Livia… read more

It’s like a tens unit… sends small electric pulses to your nerve endings in your belly and essentially keeps them too busy to send pain signals to your brain alleviating pain

My pain Dr has successfully treated endo patients with a spinal cord stimulator implant and I am considering trying it this summer. I’d love to hear from anyone about their experience with this!

A MyEndometriosisTeam Member

Have you tried a portable Tens unit first? Like the kind that chiropractors use? My docs wanted to go that route and I started talking to other people who've actually had it done and every single one… read more

Does Anyone Else Have Tension In Your Body?

A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭
Norway, SC

I have PTSD, and it has made me tense pretty much 24/7. But I have noticed that when my endo is bad, I get extremely tense. I'm relaxing in bed, not noticing how my shoulders gradually rise up, my breathing is in my chest, my legs are tense, everything. Is this more of an individual thing due to my struggles with tension, or does anyone else get more tense with endo pain?

Tension constantly in my legs. I find I cannot just relax my leg if they aren't planted on the ground. Also, massages are beneficial...to an extent! But feels wonderful!
