Low-FODMAP Diet

A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

Have you guys tried a low-FODMAP diet to help with the ibs part of endo? It's difficult to constantly think about what to eat, but if it's been helpful, it's worth a try.

Well i've finally seen a Gastroentorologist and it may not even be endo related. I'm going to have a gastroscopy and colonoscopy on Monday. I really hope they get to the bottom of this. Thanks for all your advice ladies! I've bought a slow juicer to help get the nutrients without putting too much pressure on my bowels.

It can take a while for diet changes to show any results. And it is tough having to think about what you can eat, especially when you're tired and in pain. I was super strict with my diet for a year, and then my pain and fatigue jumped to the next level. So now I'm eating easy to prepare foods, even though I feel less than ideal

It is a help for me - at least when it comes to the ibs side of things. There is an "endo diet" out there which is about reducing inflammatory foods also.
