How Much Did Your First Surgery Cost?
My surgery is scheduled in 21 days and I’m trying to work out how much it could costs as the aneathestist can only give me an estimate range of $3,000 to $14,000 for the full surgery.
(Private Health will only cover hospital fees - Medicare only covers 10% of the surgeon fees)
Obviously $14,000 would be a serious and long surgery.
So, how much did you pay (or would you have paid if you didn’t have private health/public system)?
It was roughly £7,500 for me. It all depends. It would have been more if I had said yes to getting the coil, but I changed my mind at the last minute.
I'm currently saving up for my second.
