Anyone Experience Bleeding A Drain After Sugery? It Leaking Inside?

Three weeks post op-( rough 7 hour surgery to remove endo- some reconstruction) I go back in tomorrow to put in a drain. I have fluid build up the size of a soft ball- something tore and is leaking blood. Has this happened to anyone? I am so ready to be better and get back to my life. Hoping draining this will ease the pain and pressure. Any similar experiences?
