Today is still only cycle day 8 if your period started on may 1st. If you have a normal cycle you likely won’t ovulate for another 6-8 days. Also, the positive result depends a lot on how much water you’ve had to drink, what time of day you are testing. There were so many variables I couldn’t be bothered with it because it seemed so unreliable! Keep testing, but try charting your BBT instead.
