There are no endometriosis specialists where i live at. Too which would it worth it to travel to visit one or keep seeing the obgyn i have had since having endometriosis?

I use Seckin Endometriosis Center in NYC. They are absolutely fantastic. Changed my life. Best decision I have ever made.

This is probably the best website I've found to search endo docs. It has a very comprehensive rating for each and its pretty dead on. I wouldn't bother with any doc that isn't listed at least as "advanced". Hope this helps! https://www.medifind.com/conditions/endometrios...

Seeing an endo specialist, rather than the gynecologist who ignored my symptoms, turned my life around. Sometimes endo specialists will do a virtual consultation (telehealth) if you are far away and cannot travel. For me it was worth even traveling thousands of miles to see the right doctor for my surgery. Wishing you the best!

I don’t have any specialists near where I live either, so I drove to the Center for Endo in Atlanta (Dunwoody, to be more accurate). I’d recommend looking into them, but they are out of network with insurance so they can be expensive. I ‘m trying to see if I can find someone because I can’t be on birth control either but I suffer from really bad depression and anxiety when I ‘m not on medication. I hope you find someone and best of luck to you

My obgyn actually is not that bad! I can not do birth control because i have bad side affects from them and the shot they would give after the removal of my woman parts for my hormones would stronger than birth control and my symptoms would be the same or worse from it like with birth control i tried three different ones and all same effects :( i was recommended from a friend to look into an endo specialist why i was wondering
