What Tips Do You Have For Coping With Night Sweats?
Many nights I wake up in the middle of the night drenched in sweat, even though I sleep in my underwear with a thin blanket and blast the AC. So my fellow endo sisters who experience night sweats due to things like medication side effects or hormone level changes, how do you deal with this? What nighttime tips do you have beyond what I'm already doing? Thanks!
I'm not sure if this would be an option for you. I had hot flashes after I had my total hysterectomy. I started Provera 10mg, 1 tablet every evening. I also sleep with a thin blanket, both my windows open and the fan on. When I do get my hot flashes I will sleep without my blanket on or sometimes without my shirt off.
Mine is the true temp mattress pad from sleep number tho. They also sell sheets and pillow cases based on the same cooling tech
No matter what I am always hot! I've had night/day sweats since I was 37. I'm now 43 and 2 years after my hysterectomy. I turn on my fan and its like it's never enough!
Like others have said, a cooling mat. I used to soak my bed all the time then i got this sleep number thing mattress topper thats made out of like space suite marerial and since i got it i rarley sweat my bed.
Thanks everyone! Could someone post a link to what type of cooling mattress cover they use, so I have some direction on where to search? 😊
