Does Anyone Else Struggle With Eating?

A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭
Sebastian, FL

Keeping up with eating is impossible for me. I'm never truly hungry and my endometriosis often makes me too nauseous to eat. I buy food but then feel sick after a few bites 75% of the time. My bf tries to convince me to eat and remind me but I always feel like I'm going to throw. I have zofran but its take as needed and by the time I'm ready to eat and realize that I'm too nauseous I dont have time to wait for it to kick in so I can eat

I don't really care for the feeling of being high but I'll try smoking a small amount and see what comes of it

Yep, nausea and vomiting are some of my worst symptoms (aside from pain). In the last week, I think I have eaten about the normal amount one eats in two days.

Marijuana is legal here (both recreation and medical) so I tried it in the patches that I like (that just have CBD) and I almost immediately got a horrific headache (I've always suspected I have an allergy to marijuana, i go into an asthma attack from being around it, i know that's very uncommon). Zofran helps but only to the point of not being dehydrated. Ginger, too.

Yes! I’ve get so sick whenever I eat! Nothing sounds good, and anytime I try to eat I feel like I’m going to throw it up. Sometime I have to race to the bathroom. Marijuana isn’t legal where I am but I’m definitely going to try ginger.

I need marijuana to eat. But I understand that it isnt legal everywhere, and some work places drug test regularly. The next best is zofran and Ginger tea. Also ginger snaps are a good snack.

If you can and feel comfortable with it, a puff or two of weed helps me. I am nauseous everyday and definitely struggle to eat. Ginger helps as well but nothing cures it like marijuana. Plus then you get an appetite and don’t have to force yourself to eat. Again, only if you’re comfortable with it.
