Weak, Dizzy, Fainting- Why?!

A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

I can't count how many times I actually fainted today. I spent most of my day in bed with depression consuming me, but I had to be so careful every time I got up because I know I'd just fall right back onto my bed. I didn't have the strength to blow dry my hair after my shower and even showering made me short of breath and dizzy. I started bleeding lightly today, first day of my strange irregular cycle maybe? Never know if I'm just spotting, point is I'm not bleeding heavily. I've eaten exactly… read more

Hi I see that this was posted a year ago, and I do not see any comments answering your qs (I might be missing them, I am new to this site). I have been experiencing the same thing....at LEAST once a day I am almost fainting, near syncope, everything turns black and I have to quickly get to the floor or a chair before I faint. I'm eating great, everything SHOULD be fine, but I'm not and I am SO fatigued and short of breath as well!!

I was wondering if you found out why this was happening to you? I'm scared at this point...went to the ER last week because I fainted in a store and lab work came back normal and they looked at me like I was ridiculous have come in there.

I'm scared. I was thinking maybe the endometriosis is effecting the vagus nerve???

I hope you are feeling better. <3

@A MyEndometriosisTeam Member have you gotten your iron tested? I felt this way last night and almost passed out when I got up too fast. I just saw a naturopath and she tested my iron levels bc I was complaining about fatigue and little to no energy. Turns out my iron was very low, along with a couple other things

Hello fellow endo sisters,
Ive only had this happen during a heavy cycle. They're always heavy but its never been what either of you have described. I have read about thoracic endometriosis. Maybe look that up? I swear we all must be the best researchers only problem is that it always leads to more questions!! So frustrating. Shame on the er doc or nurses who blew you off! Oy vey!!
