Is Endometriosis Genetic?
Hi, this is also a semi-personal question. I've heard that there is some research that indicates that it's genetic as well. My sister and I both have it but none of our family will tell us anything about their health in this area. I have suspicions that they had symptoms that maybe just weren't as severe as us ( we both have stage 4) but I guess I'll never know.
In my family, several people have had it: my grandma, my mom, my aunt, my sister, and me. So I believe there is a heavy genetic component.
