Which San Francisco Bay Area Surgeons Have You Had Success With For Bowel Endometriosis?
I had a recent MRI that showed deep infiltrating endometriosis and localized adenomyosis. I have chosen to pursue surgery, and am looking for a surgeon. The largest adhesions are between my uterus and bowels. Has anyone with bowel endometriosis had laparoscopic surgery from a surgeon in the Bay Area? How was your experience?
I would recommend checking out UCSF endometriosis center in SF. I wasn’t able to pursue surgery with them due to insurance but my consultation was one of the few times I met with a dr that was actually knowledgeable about endo and didn’t spew outdated information. Good luck with everything!
Hello, i have consider DIE in the bowel and adenomyosis. It is considered since its found via TVS. I have not had any surgery yet. My doctor didnt recommend a surgery yet. Im taking dienogest to help control the growth and to hopefully reduced them in size
