Hi Leevashni, I was on Vissane for 3 or 4 months, but I stopped about a week ago. I have stage 4 endometriosis, diagnosed in 2021. One Fallopian tube was removed as well as 2 x endometriomas on both my ovaries in 2021. At my last appointment with Dr in March this year, she said that my ovaries are stuck to my uterus. So either I get a hysterectomy or I can try the medication. A hysterectomy will be a complicated surgery as it would leave me with immediate menopause because the ovaries are stuck to my uterus and everything will have to be removed. I am turning 42 in January. At first the meds helped with pain and period stopped completely. But for the last 2 months I am in constant pain, hips, lower back and pelvis is constantly aching even while I used Vissane. I am on pain meds constantly. The meds also made me very depressed. Also had spotting and sometimes clots, but big clots. It was white tissue like sacks filled with blood, I do not know what it was, never had it before. So, I am trying to get my hormones back to normal and see if I can get to a endometriosis specialist next year to see if he can remove the endometriosis. But first need to lose weight as I heard that this specialist does not operate on obese women.

Hi Mpho, what changes did you experience on Vissane? I have been on it for a while the side effects such has painful legs and burning feet, fatigue is so high that it's effecting my daily life. I have undergone surgery in June for stage 4 endometriosis with a 5cm endometrioma on my right ovary. I was put on visanne after surgery for 6 months. I am planning stop the meds as I can't handle the certain side effects that I experience

I got sick last year December and in January I underwent 2 procedures because I had adhesions and the fibroids were attached to the bladder wall

I took to for about 4 months
I noticed drastic changes 😃
