Anyone Tried Trenaxa MF (Tranexamic Acid + Mefenamic Acid) For Period Relief?

A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭
UK and India

Had my followup post laparoscopy today and the surgeon has advised me not to take any hormones (yay) for the next six months.

He's recommended Trenaxa MF 3xday for the first 3 days of my period on an SOS basis if required to reduce heavy bleeding and help with the pain. I normally take Drotin M (Drotaverine + Mefenamic acid) as an SOS so I know the MF bit helps with my pain. Looking for any feedback anyone has on this combination!

Post-surgery Infection??

A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭
Fort Collins, CO

Hello :) So I had a laparoscopy in August of this year and I have an incision in my belly button. Well yesterday I saw a small white area on the incision, and tonight it had gotten much larger. I touched it, very gently, and then it basically popped open and there was just white goo everywhere. It doesn't hurt, but is this an infection? Once it popped, the incision looked all red. I guess I am just not sure how serious or not serious this is. Thank you in advance for any advice!!

Painkillers

A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭
Perth, UK

I have suspected endometriosis and am looking for advice on painkillers if trying to conceive. I had a laparoscopy 2 years ago. No endo was found but had a merina coil fitted and all pelvic/ibs symptoms disappeared for about 18mths. Since then the pain and other symptoms have been gradually returning to the point of being quite severe (but not as frequent or long lasting as they were pre coil and no period just very light spotting).

Anyway I’m having my coil removed tomorrow as we are going to… read more

Do Endometriosis And Adenomyosis Cause Spasms?

A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

I have been experiencing several uterine spasms. At first I thought it was a colic (which I feel too), but then I realized it was like a pressure that passed very quickly. The pain is unbearable, but it passed. Very strange.
