Does Anyone Else Have The Nexplanon And Still Bleeds Whenever A Flare Up Is Bad?

A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭
Bluefield, VA

I have the nexplanon to try and help control my endo. I will go months without bleeding and then it comes out of nowhere for weeks at a time. I noticed it became better after my lap but about 6 months later it is back again. Seems like I can’t go anywhere without pads and tampons just in case. I’m scared to death because my wedding is Tuesday and is hate to bleed on my dress.

I've noticed a lot of people here post about having to have an appendectomy with excision surgeries. I'm unsure if it's actually just super common, but it's possible that the endo has spread there.

Birth Control Recommendations?

A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭
New York, NY

Does anyone have suggestions on what birth controls help the most? My endo has caused my whole body to swell up with extreme bloating and continuous pelvic pain. There are SO many birth control options but I want to make sure I choose the one that will be the most helpful to treat my symptoms without extreme mood swings. (I already have a predisposition for depression.)
I was on Larin FE which hasn't helped at all and I just started Isibloom.

Has Anyone Gone Back To Taking Placebo Pills After Being On Continuous Birth Control?

A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭
Northfield, OH

I started taking continuous birth control in 2016 due to severe periods, but now instead of having one debilitating week a month I have issues daily. I dont know if its just the progression of the disease or if its worth it to go back to taking the placebos and have good days 3/4 of the month? I dont even know if that would work..

A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭
South Bend, IN

What birth control would you recommend? nexplanon, the shot, birth control pill (which one?)
My doctor wants me to get the nexplanon tomorrow. I'm unsure. I've had a bad reaction to the shot. Trying to find something to keep me from getting prego but will help with the endo.
Thanks
