Has Anyone Had Any Problems Getting Pregnant After Taken The Lupron Injections For 6 Months? Do You Think That The Lupron Helped?

A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭
Louisville, KY

I am starting on the Lupron injections Friday. I will be on it for 6 months my doctor seems to think that it is going to help me with my endo and also thinks that when I come off of it I wont have any problems getting pregnant afterwards. I am just wanting to see what the success rate has been with getting pregnant after the Lupron. TIA

One of the risks of Lupron is that it can permanently shrink your ovaries to the point where you can not use them at all or get pregnant. I highly suggest joining Nancy's Nook on FB and getting reliable information from one of the women who pioneered a much better treatment with Dr. Redwine called excision via vaporization. I just had this done myself and I feel SO GOOD! A specialist is the best way to treat your endo!

Really read the side effects. I was supposed to go on it and I was reading some stories. Not one was a good one. You really need to weigh the pros and cons

Everybody is different and I’m tired of people saying Lupron is so bad based on its bad reviews. Every body is different. I am on Lupron for 5 months now and there’s a reason I’m on it. I can’t have surgery at the moment unless my whole reproductive system is removed and I still haven’t had a child yet.
If you are given Lupron for the Endo and given add back, you will be fine.

@A MyEndometriosisTeam Member Well I know that I am not going on BC after the Lupron because lets be honest my eggs aren't getting any younger. I know that I need to use Condoms or some other sort of BC while on the Lupron because it is dangerous for the baby if I got pregnant on the Lupron.
